The WWE Universe was left in shock after the events of Super Showdown on Thursday.

Friday Night SmackDown had two of its championships changed in Saudi Arabia, with Goldberg defeating “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt for the Universal title being the most shocking. The 53-year-old is now a two-time Universal Champion and the WWE Universe wants to know what’s next for the Hall of Famer.

Goldberg is scheduled to appear on tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown. What will he have to say and will his WrestleMania opponent challenge him?

Also, what does this mean for Bray Wyatt? Now that he doesn’t have the blue brand’s top title, where does “The Fiend” go from here and how will he take his first loss in over a year?

Here’s everything that happened on the February 28 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN RESULTS

Goldberg Promo

  • Goldberg comes out to boos. He says “it’s not about who was last, it’s about who’s next.”
  • Roman Reigns comes out and says he’s next and the two stare down.

Bayley vs. Naomi

  • When the bell rings, Bayley grabs a mic and says she’s only on SmackDown tonight to introduce Sasha Banks back. This allows Bayley to get the jump on Naomi.
  • Naomi wins via disqualification after Sasha breaks up the pin.
  • After the bell, Bayley and Banks double-team Naomi when Lacey Evans comes out for the save. The referees break it up and make it a tag team match with the four women.

Robert Roode (with Dolph Ziggler) vs Kofi Kingston (with Big E)

  • During the match, Roode makes believe he was attacked by Big E. The referee ejects Big E from ringside.
  • Roode wins via pinfall after a roll up
  • The finish was set up when Dolph put Roode’s foot on the rope and while the referee was distracted Robert rolled up Kofi for the win.

Backstage

  • Tucker comes up to Otis who was watching the match backstage. Otis says there’s something going on with Mandy and Dolph Ziggler
  • Tucker says sometimes people like Dolph get the girl, but Otis needs to go out there next week and get in the ring because the WWE Universe loves him.

Intercontinental Championship Contract Signing

  • Braun Strowman comes out with Sami Zayn and his faction already in the ring.
  • Sami says that Shinsuke Nakamura couldn’t enjoy his birthday because he had staples in his head after last week’s match
  • Braun Strowman says he doesn’t have to read the contract and he’d fight all three of them before he signs it. Sami makes an amendment to the contract so that the Intercontinental Championship match between Strowman and Nakamura at Elimination Chamber is now a three on one handicap match.
  • Strowman moves the table and says that Sami and the gang won’t make it to Elimination Chamber. The four men fight, but Zayn, Cesaro and Nakamura get the best of Braun hitting their finishers and they then put him through a table.

WrestleMania Announcement

  • It’s confirmed that Roman Reigns will take on Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

John Cena Promo

  • Cena comes out and asks what he’s going to do for WrestleMania and says that this year WrestleMania will have to go on without him because he doesn’t want to take a spot from someone else.
  • He says that this is not a goodbye just a goodbye for now and walks up the ramp. When he turns to the crowd, the lights go out and when it comes up The Fiend appears behind Cena.
  • The Fiend points to the WrestleMania sign and Cena tips his cap before SmackDown goes off the air.
