Trump Announces Endorsement For Ken Paxton

The quest for the next Texas attorney general has gotten more interesting as former president Donald Trump has finally chosen a candidate who will be blessed by his endorsement and it’s not Republican royalty George P. Bush.

Trump recently announced that he will be throwing in his full support for Tea Party conservative Ken Paxton for his reelection bid.

“Attorney General Ken Paxton has been bravely on the front line in the fight for Texas, and America, against the vicious and very dangerous Radical Left Democrats, and the foolish and unsuspecting RINOs that are destroying our Country. Ken is strong on Crime, Border Security, the Second Amendment, Election Integrity and, above all, our Constitution,” Trump stated.

Born in Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota where his father was stationed, Paxton was exposed to a difficult childhood living in a trailer with his family so they could move around wherever his dad needed to be deployed. Having a father in the Air Force exposed him to a work ethic that he would use to excel in school and later on his career.

“He loves our Military and our Vets. It is going to take a PATRIOT like Ken Paxton to advance America First policies in order to Make America Great Again. Ken has my Complete and Total Endorsement for another term as Attorney General of Texas. He is a true Texan who will keep Texas safe—and will never let you down!” Trump added.

Trump’s endorsement of Paxton didn’t come as a complete surprise due to their unbreakable alliance that was exhibited when the Texas attorney general filed a lawsuit that challenged Trump’s reelection loss in four states.

However, Bush is also an ardent supporter of the former president and was perceived to be courting Trump’s endorsements by showering him with praise any chance that he gets. Donald Trump’s relationship with Bush’s family is not a perfect one, prompting him to state that George P. Bush is “the only Bush that likes me.”

While Donald Trump definitely doesn’t hold any grudges against the young Bush. In fact, he has actually developed a certain fondness for the talented young man. However, Trump values his friendship with a loyal ally like Ken Paxton, who, even in one of the darkest moments in American history, never left the former commander-in-chief’s side. That and the fact that Paxton has the accolades and the experience to handle the role of Texas attorney general one more time.
