Retired Republican Launches Tirades Against Trump Detractors

Recently, Jason Chaffetz, a Republican and a former Representative for Utah’s 3rd congressional district blasted Donald Trump’s detractors for trading off a more stable governance in exchange for an incompetent one under the Biden administration.

In a scathing opinion piece on Fox News, Chaffetz launched criticism after criticism, aiming at Biden and his Democrat cohorts.

“Gone are the good policies that drove the Trump economy and made the world a safer place. In their place are policies antithetical to prosperity, freedom and security,” the retired congressman wrote.

Chaffetz slammed the Trump haters for electing a leader who would immediately reverse strict border and immigration policies, while mindlessly wasting the people’s hard-earned money on less important causes.

“You traded an energy pipeline out of Canada for a crime pipeline out of Mexico. Instead of creating jobs for skilled American workers, Biden is creating opportunities for cartels, traffickers and COVID-positive migrants,” he stated.

“Trump said no to federally funding abortion. You traded for Biden, who wants your taxes to pay for abortion, and your tax dollars are being sent around the world to fund abortion in other countries,” he continued.

Citing an iconic dystopian science fiction novel as example, he likened America to the uncontrollable chaos, abuse of power and unfair use of mainstream media that was portrayed in Orwell’s classic Nineteen Eighty-Four.

“You traded fairness for a George Orwell version of equality. Under the new administration, there are two systems of justice. Protesters on the left can set buildings ablaze, vandalize them and shoplift with impunity. Protesters on the right will be branded, surveilled and prosecuted as domestic terrorists,” Chaffetz said.

The U.S. today has indeed changed a lot since Trump’s departure. Even though the whole world suffered from the coronavirus pandemic, the former GOP head of state found ways for our economy to cope without all the careless spending. Our situation has worsened so much, at a time when we were supposed to be bouncing back from that sharp decline.

“Americans are not better off than we were eight months ago,” Chaffetz maintained.

“But the grim reality for Trump haters is this: the tradeoff has been costly. The cost could become even more dear if Democrats are successful in leveraging their slim majority to commandeer control of local elections. Their ability to tilt the playing field dramatically in their favor could prevent voters from ever restoring the freedom and prosperity we took for granted just eight months ago,” Chaffetz concluded.
