Pregnant California Woman Stranded In Afghanistan Recounts Terrifying Experience With The Taliban

While Joe Biden and his Pentagon henchmen are celebrating the supposed success of the withdrawal in Afghanistan, some of our countrymen are still stranded in the war torn nation with the anti-American extremists and terrorists in their midst. Without the protection of the U.S. military, these people’s lives are in grave danger every danger every moment that passes by.

Recently, a pregnant woman from California who is among the hundreds that are trapped in Afghanistan, disclosed that members of the Taliban are currently hunting down Americans.

“I think to myself, ‘Am I going to make it home? Am I going to end up living here? Am I going to end up dying here? What’s going to happen? Apparently they’re [the Taliban] going door-to-door, trying to see if anybody has a blue passport,” the woman who identified herself as Nasria, told Voice of America.

Nasria, who was married to an Afghan man, tried to flee the country with her husband during the U.S. military’s evacuation efforts. Unfortunately, the chaos was just too overwhelming and the vast number of people at the airport made it impossible for them to leave.

“The situation at the airport felt surreal. It was so hard to get on a flight. There were a couple of days where we had to sleep on the streets. People were literally stepping over people. That’s how bad it was,” Nasria recounted.

“I’ve never in my life have experienced anything like this. It was like literally a movie scene,” she added.

Nasaria and her husband were also shot at by Taliban forces when they attempted to board a flight, causing them to back off and miss the flight. Her husband pleaded with the Taliban to let her on the plane, but she chose to stay with him instead.

“My child is going to need a father and I’m going to need a husband by my side,” Nasria said.

The government has made assurances that they will be assisting our fellow Americans in Afghanistan but the promises have all empty ones. The Biden administration should be held accountable for any harm that our countrymen and our allies will be experiencing in the conflict-ridden country.

“You have stories of interpreters being taken home to their families and watching their wives and families being beheaded, executed before they execute the interpreter. This is not a new and improved Taliban. This is the same old Taliban. They are reverting back to with the same brutal practices,” Texas GOP Rep. Mike McCaul said in a recent Fox News interview.
