on

The winning numbers in Tuesday’s Mega Millions draw were 10, 41, 46, 52, and 69, and the Mega Ball was 8. The jackpot was worth $93 million with a cash option of $63 million, but did anyone win the grand prize?

Nobody matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball so the jackpot will roll over to Friday night’s lottery where it will be worth an estimated $105 million with a cash option of $71.1 million.

In Tuesday’s Mega Millions draw, no player matched five numbers either, so nobody won the Match Five prize of $1 million, or the Megaplier prize of $2 million. The Megaplier in last night’s draw was 2X.

Although nobody won the two biggest prizes, there were hundreds and thousands of winners last night.

Five players won $10,000 each, and two additional players won $20,000 each using the Megaplier. More than 230 players won $500 each by matching four numbers while 52 additional players won $1,000 using the Megaplier.

Just over 700 players won $200 each by matching three numbers and the Mega Ball while more than 150 players used the Megaplier and won $400 each.

More than 16,000 players won $10 by matching three numbers with more than 3,000 winning $20 using the Megaplier. An additional 15,000 players also won $10 each but by matching two numbers and the Mega Ball, with another 3,000 players using the Megaplier to win $20 each.

To win $4 in the Mega Millions, players have to match one number and the Mega Ball, and last night, more than 127,000 players did so, with an additional 27,000 using the Megaplier to win $8.

Finally, more than 328,000 players won $2 by matching the Mega Ball while more than 70,000 players won $4 using the Megaplier.

The next drawing will take place on Friday, March 19, where the jackpot will be an estimated $105 million. To take part, purchase a ticket for $2 per play with the option of adding the Megaplier to your ticket for an additional $1 per play.

When purchasing a ticket, choose five numbers between one and 70 for the white balls and one number from one to 25 for the gold Mega Ball, Alternatively, players can select Easy Pick/Quick Pick and have the numbers randomly selected.

A Mega Millions player will win the jackpot if they match all six numbers. Winners can choose to claim their prize as either an annuity paid out with one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase in amount by five percent each time. Or, winners can claim the prize as a cash option, which will be paid out in a one-time, lump-sum payment.

On Friday, Mega Millions reported that an Oakland County lottery club had claimed the largest prize in Michigan Lottery history: a $1.05 billion Mega Millions jackpot. The Wolverine FLL Club, made up of four numbers, purchased a ticket at a Kroger store in Novi. They matched all the numbers drawn in the Mega Millions drawing on January 22.
